What are the Akashic Records, and how does it differ from other readings? I promise I will create more videos and blog content to supplement this short answer that I feel doesn’t do it justice. Everything that ever existed is recorded in the Akashic Records: every living being (humans, animals, plants, DNA) and non-living (objects, buildings, businesses, atoms) every thought, every intention & desire, past, present, and future possibility are captured and recorded. The term is derived from the Sanskrit word “Ākāśa” meaning space, sky, or aether. The Akashic Records as a term was coined and brought to our modern lexicon by Theosophists & Anthroposophist in the 19th century and continued to be studied today. It is referenced across early Eastern and Western religious practices and philosophy, and spans Buddhism, Daoism, Christianity, Sufism, Kabbalah, Native Americans, Mayans, Egyptians & Greece as well as among well-known Physicists. If I were to explain how it differs from other kinds of readings (psychics, tarot, mediumships, divinations, etc), the main distinction is that it is not fortune-telling, and is highly cerebral. When I am reading my own Akashic Records and working with my Akashic Record Keeper & Guides, I compare my experience there to a Spiritual Socratic Method - a dialogue between myself & my Akashic Record Guides, that fosters and hones my critical thinking with the added guidance of the wisdom available inside of the Akashic Records “library.” Through this dialogue, we can eliminate thoughts & ideas that may no longer serve us, and we are empowered to make decisions that are in alignment with our journey in the present. I have a social science background, and I am all about facts & “seeing is believing” - my guides have shown me over and over again over the past 33 years until I’m like “OK. This is it.” This reading is perfect for people who are into what I call The Truth Seeker’s Triad: Spirituality, Science & Creativity. You do not have to be religious/spiritual, meditate, to want to seek truth and deepen your knowledge about your soul’s journey.

What kind of questions can I ask in the Akashic Records? As mentioned, oracle/prediction-type readings are not the focus. I am sharing my summary & paraphrasing from Linda Howe’s book “How to Read the Akashic Records, Accessing the Archive of the Soul and its Journey“ here:

1. Avoid asking “when” or predictive questions involving time - time is relative in the multiverse, and your issue might even take a few lifetimes to resolve. Sharing a personal example here. Math has not always been a strong suit of mine, but I’m surprisingly good at Geometry & visual patterns/Logic/Music - my soul has been working towards mastery of Sacred Geometry over lifetimes, and it was a great release to know that my periodic nightmares which entail “Sorry, we didn’t get your AP Calculus results, you have to retake the class” even though I took the exam almost 2 decades ago, it is my higher self and my guides’ humorous way of reminding me that I signed up to keep working on my mastery.

2. Avoid “yes/no” questions: If you ask your Akashic Record Gatekeeper & Guides a yes/no question, if they answer you, it potentially takes away your decision-making power. They want to empower you to make your own decisions. In my experience, some yes/no questions are OK, but only if it fits in this framework of being empowering and expansive!

3. It is best to ask “what” “why” or “how” questions. Going back to my personal example, I should not ask “When will I master Sacred Geometry” or “When will I stop struggling with Math” is not what I should ask; instead “Why is certain math so hard for me, what is the reason at soul-level that I need to know, and how can I work around it now by changing my perspective?”

As a healer & consultant, I also use other tools and modalities, the I-Ching, and The Dreams of Gaia Tarot - I’ve asked the Akashic Record Guides previously if I should incorporate this in my readings, and they said there will be situations where it can be helpful and told me that I can supplement it my readings and that I will know if it’s right or not.

What is the Booking Process like? I try to make it as easy as possible to work with me, as often when I do a reading, I cannot wait to share with you what I discovered and hear from you directly and help you go deeper in our joint session.

1. Fill out the “Booking/Inquiry Form”

2. Fill out the Consent Form(s) & Questionnaire for your reading (this is a Google Form that will be sent to you via Email). Please also read the Terms & Conditions at this phase. Once I confirm I can access your Akashic Records, you will receive an online invoice - payment must be paid in full before I perform the first phase of the reading.

3. I will perform the reading based on your questionnaire at the earliest possible time, and when I am complete, I will email you to schedule a live video or voice call for our Joint Reading Session.

4. I will follow up via email and send you a download link to download the audio recording of our session and will send any supplementary information, if applicable, via email. The reading will then be complete and you are ready to continue on your journey armed with the knowledge your Akashic Record Guides provided to support you now.

Are there any prerequisites or contraindications for getting a reading? For all readings, you, the main seeker/client must be over 18 years old, for the reason of being able to provide consent. There are some situations where I am not allowed to open your records. If that happens and I cannot perform the reading, you will receive a refund. For “Soul Origins Reading,” it is recommended that you have not had another Akashic Record reading with another practitioner where your Soul’s Origin was the primary focus. The reason is if you return to the Akashic Records through the practitioner to ask your Guides the same questions, it is almost like you question their prior guidance, and as I mentioned about comparing it to Socratic Method, they will question you back and may give you a different answer for you to think critically to challenge you so that you will arrive to the solution that will be most empowering to you - this may confuse you further and may not best serve you. If significant time has elapsed since your last reading, and you have a new question/intention or want to revisit a question under a new “lens,” I invite you to do a Soul Origins Reading, or consider a Soul Guidance session with me!

For the DUO {YOU+ONE} reading, I want to do an in-depth Soul Origins about my Child/Spouse/Romantic Partner/Friend/Family Member/Pet/Business Partner/Employee/Colleague - do I need their consent? For Children & Pets in the Family Reading, they are under 18 or cannot give verbal consent, but you are allowed to ask on their behalf from your records. For everyone above 18, where they can provide consent, you need to obtain their consent and they will need to sign the consent form prior to the reading, for me to access the records to do an in-depth Soul Origins Reading. This is because every soul has the right to exercise their sovereignty to how they see fit; their records are private and sacred to them, and we cannot interfere with each soul’s free will and right to choose. Opening their records imply they are responsible to make their own decisions. However, we can always consult your Akashic Records in-depth, to obtain guidance for your relationship with that person now, and we can look into your records to see whether you have past lives together, and if any information in that lifetime or lifetimes that could provide insight for you now. In sum, this means that we are still reading your Akashic Records only, and if you need to go deeper, you will need to obtain their consent.

Do you offer a sliding scale? Life on Gaia can be filled with challenges that feel insurmountable at times, If you are undergoing temporary financial hardships or unemployment, please let me know in the inquiry form. I will consult my Akashic Record Guides for permission to perform the reading, and we can work out and agree to a payment plan before the reading is performed. I asked my Akashic Record Guides and my Council what my rates should be, and they advised me what to charge. The sliding scale will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. We are here to help.

Why do you need my birthday, city, and birth name/current name? It may feel a little awkward giving someone over the internet sensitive information, but similar to receiving Natal Chart/Astrology readings, I need this information to make sure I am opening your records, and not someone else’s, with the same name, I take precautions (ie: 2-step authentication, use a reputable company) and your email will not be automatically entered into any subscription services.

How did you learn about the Akashic Records? As a claircognizant person my whole life without knowing exactly what it entails until recent years, I will suddenly know things, and it comes out as my own thoughts. I used to think it was just me overthinking, but it is part of who I am ever since I had metacognition at age 3. I would often know who is calling me before seeing the caller ID and had experiences where I would know the person’s name before they introduced themselves. The special superpower of claircognizant people is that when you read something or hear something, you will know if it is true. I’ve interacted with otherworldly beings (Angels/Archangels, Jesus & Mary, Mythical creatures, Starseeds from other systems, ghosts…and negative entities…yes they exist too) growing up. Being a psychic was a label I gained around age 18, when my parents took me to see one in Taiwan. I’ve always approached everything with an open mind but I’m still a practical skeptic, but as she was talking about me and my soul, I knew what she was telling me was true. I’m from Taiwan, and consulting a psychic is part of our culture, as part of the Buddho-Daoist practices and traditions. This powerful psychic told me right before this reincarnation, I was like an administrative worker, handling “documents,” and assisting with the adjudication of souls, and immediately I saw myself (clairvoyantly) in another lifetime and dimension doing this work, in a place that looked like a magical library. She also counseled me about my career options that would be aligned with what was written in my soul ‘hard drive’, and she said I can pick ANY career that involves working with people in a positive way. She said one way or another, I will come into my gifts and will do similar work, just like her; she said the timing of when that might happen is not up to me. I came across the Akashic Records at various points in my life, in various formats, and finally, in 2020 during the pandemic and the U.S./California government-mandated unemployment, I was faced with an existential crisis since my previous calling of being a hair/makeup artist was my way of sharing my unique gifts to the world, became inaccessible to me. To reduce my stress, I was listening to Buddhist meditations and diving into the sutras and texts on Youtube. In short, the Youtube Algorithm (or my Guides working through the algorithm..!) led me to the Akashic Records yet again - in both Mandarin and English. This is the short answer!
